We had a very exciting World Book Day this year! The children looked fantastic in their costumes and really enjoyed being their favourite characters for the day. In the morning, the children had the opportunity to tell the class who they had come and as why they liked that character. They could then choose from a range of activities such as designing their own book cover, creating their own story or completing a character profile. 

In the afternoon, we swapped classrooms to join some Year 3 children for some paired reading and to hear a whole class story. Well done everyone - keep up the great reading at home!
