Our Trip to Sunny Hun(stanton)ny!

This half-term our topic is Beachcombers. We are learning all about the wildlife that lives on or around the beach and the geographical features of land and sea.

This week Poland Class had a fantastic trip to Hunstanton and the sealife centre. We arrived to beautiful sunshine, took our shoes and socks off and started building sandcastles with our buckets and spades.

Later on we walked up to the sealife centre and had our lunches before we went in for a talk with Jess - a staff member who told us all about the animals that live in a rockpool. We even touched a starfish who had lost a leg and a very active crab.

After the talk we walked around the centre discovering all about different sea creatures, before we finished our day with a huge, beautiful sea turtle. A highlight for many.

Poland Class were extremely well behaved and we hope that they have told you all about their visit back at home.
